One of Mental's servants, Lord Achriman, is overseeing the campaign on Earth. Several weeks have passed since the Tunguksa portal appeared and Mental's forces have slowly taken control over Western Europe, and have already occupied France and Italy. The Earth Defense Force, Earth's main military force, is scrambled along with local resistance fighters to repel and contain the threat.
The first of the portals to appear, a massive one in Tunguska, Russia, initiates the Tunguska Offensive.
